Tom Dalrymple

Hi, I am a UKCP registered Psychotherapist in training. I am doing an MA at Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My training is integrative drawing on a wide range of theory, but at it’s core my approach is humanistic. I think a good relationship based on trust and empathy is essential in therapy.

I love nature and have had a long career in nature conservation. I believe human beings are part of nature, and like all living things have a tendency towards healing and growth. My passion is to help people find that growth when they feel stuck, perhaps in patterns of behaviour that no longer serve them. I am motivated to help people find the root of their problems and greater understanding of themselves, at a pace that they are comfortable with.

You will find me warm, genuine and non-judgemental. It’s important to me to really listen and fully understand how it is for you. There is no limit on the number of sessions, you decide what you need.

I have worked for a year as a low-cost counsellor at the Swan Project in Bristol. I am supported by a qualified, UK registered supervisor. For more information see my website:
